Phil Gore
Prior to starting Airwolf Enterprises, Phil Gore served as the Director of Military and Veterans Affairs at Georgia Southern University, where he supported military-affiliated students to ensure they accomplished their academic, professional, and life goals. He is a Certified Veterans Service Provider and holds a number of certifications from the Department of Defense Center for Deployment Psychology, the National Council for Behavioral Health, and the Department of Labor’s National Veterans Training Institute. The Council on Adult and Experiential Learning has also certified him as a Career and Education Advisor. Mr. Gore is U.S. Army veteran who is frequently asked to present at conferences around the country and was selected to speak at TEDx Savannah in 2017. His work with the military and veteran population at Georgia Southern University helped the institution receive 36 national awards, most notably ranking first on the Military Times’ 2019 Best 4-year Colleges and Universities for Veterans. He has testified before the Committees on Veterans Affairs in both the House and Senate, and helped draft legislation to improve the lives of veterans and their families. Gore has been recognized by government agencies, veterans service organizations, and Congressional leaders for his advocacy on behalf of service members, veterans, and their families. Following his military service, he developed training programs for a Fortune 500 marketing solutions company, where he received a number of awards from the CEO. He also managed regional offices for security solutions companies in Texas and the Mid-Atlantic, where he received recognition for leadership, operations, and training. Gore received a Bachelors at the University of Texas at El Paso and earned a Master of Arts in Professional Communication & Leadership at Armstrong State University. In 2016, Mr. Gore received the Notable Alumni Award from Armstrong for excellence in his field and the work he does in the community. Mr. Gore has served on the Board of Directors for Georgia Southern University’s Alumni Association, Operation College Promise, and the National Association of Veterans’ Program Administrators, where he also served as Legislative Director for three years. He has also been an Advisor to the Board for Women Veterans Social Justice and the SALUTE National Honors Society for Veterans. He was a Georgia Veterans Court Mentor and was a member of the Council on Military Education, National Academic Advising Association, and Student Veterans of America. Mr. Gore is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, The 40 & 8, American Legion, Association of the United States Army, Justice for Vets National Mentor Corps, and The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
